It has been an exciting week with much going on around our town. As promised, the road paving is going great and moving along on schedule. There is a new sidewalk addition at Idlewild Park, and if you haven’t had a chance to see it, I recommend you stop by; you’ll be very pleased.
We had a very successful Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast on Friday, 10/29, and look forward to next year’s event. Thank you to all who attended. As for the upcoming couple of months, we’ve got the Waterfowl Festival just around the corner, and you’ll soon start to see the preparations around town for the holiday season. Veteran’s Day is on November 11th, so be sure to recognize our veterans and community first responders.
