The Housing on the Hill initiative is now maturing. The town of Easton has completed one house and is currently working on two others. The most recent project includes raising the residential structure to install a new foundation. The foundation also encompasses a new addition to the rear of the existing house to add a kitchen, utility room, bathroom and a third bedroom. Once this house is lowered onto its new foundation, the initiative will advertise a request for proposals to rehabilitate the structure.
