The EBA’s first industry meeting of 2019 will take place Wednesday, January 16, at 5:30 p.m. Vintage Books & Fine Art (4 N Washington Street) will host the independent Easton retail industry. Topics of discussion will include events, advertising, marketing, and communication. “Our retailers provided valuable feedback during our first meeting,” said Jeff Lankford, marketing and events coordinator of the Easton Business Alliance. “We’ve had time to explore some of those ideas and we are excited to share more information with our businesses to develop them further.”
The EBA has invited the Easton Police Department to meet with Easton business owners on Tuesday, January 22, at 5:30 p.m. at the Washington Street Pub’s third floor meeting space (20 N Washington Street). The meeting will be an opportunity for the local business community to speak with law enforcement about community safety and public outreach. The art galleries will meet again in February/March and the EBA is working with local Easton eateries to schedule the first restaurant industry meeting.
“Our number one goal for these meetings is to listen to local businesses and see where we can put our focus to support them,” Lankford said. “We recognize that each industry faces different challenges and has different ideas. We hope to better understand those challenges, turn them into opportunities, and strengthen our business community.”
