Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival

Ebenezer Theater 17 South Washington Street, Easton

at the Ebenezer Theater, new home of Chesapeake Music We are delighted to welcome you to the 36th annual Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival, June 4 through June 12, at the Ebenezer Theater, 17 South Washington Street, Easton, MD. Join us in person or on the web to experience the extraordinary performances of 15 acclaimed musicians presenting six concerts over two music-filled weekends. Artistic Directors Marcy Rosen and Catherine Cho have created another compelling program of chamber music masterworks, as well as intimate duo performances. We are eager to welcome returning distinguished musicians who have become dear friends over the years they have played for us. We are also pleased to greet violist Molly Carr and cellist Timothy Eddy joining the Festival for the first time. We are excited that the Orion String Quartet, one of the most sought-after ensembles in the country, will play at two concerts for their first Festival appearance as a quartet. The concert schedule, performing artists and works to be performed are detailed in the Festival program posted below. Chesapeake Music has much to celebrate as we launch Festival 2021 in our elegantly renovated new home. Thank you to Paul and Joanne Prager for generously inviting Chesapeake Music to make its home at the Ebenezer Theater. Thank you also to the generous donors who have made it possible for Chesapeake Music to acquire our own Steinway concert grand piano.

Ryan Martin

Stoltz Pavilion 218 N Washington Street, Easton

“Perfection is damn near impossible to come by and it almost never happens. Yet somehow, someway, Ryan Martin hit that rare pocket in time and captured perfection.” American Songwriter Originally from Los Gatos, California, Martin started writing songs when he was 14 and was soon touring up and down the West Coast as a solo artist and with a band. After escaping to New York City, assembling a band of misfit all-stars and growing a devout audience, Martin has gone on to release three acclaimed albums, including 2020’s Wandercease. This latest release is his most musically adventurous and emotionally authentic record, blending masterful melodic instincts with giant musical hooks and a polychromatic sonic palette. https://www.ryanmartinmusic.com/
