NOAA’s Cooperative Oxford Laboratory (COL) in Oxford, MD, conducted an ecological assessment in the Tred Avon River over a 3-year period (2015-2017) to identify impacts of human activity on the environment. In this study, COL assessed the effects of different land use characteristics (urban, agriculture, mixed forest) on the condition of the aquatic ecosystem.
