Easton Airport is excited to invite the public to a special “Walk & Talk” airport open house series. The event offers the community an on-site trek of the community airport with a walking tour through designated sections of the airfield on May 12 and 26, 2022. Pre-registration for “Walk & Talk” is requested to help share important information prior to arriving at the airport. No 4-legged friends are permitted on the tour. The walk is approx. a 1-mile loop. Weather related cancellations will be announced via email in advance with make up dates to be determined. Walks start at 10 a.m. and finish around noon.

Join us in May to paint a King of the Grill Platter. Step by step instructions will be given and all skill levels are welcome! Must be 18+ to sign up. Learn a technique used specifically on raised design pieces such as this one.

Formed on Maryland's Eastern Shore in 2015 and currently with roots both in Baltimore and the rural Delmarva peninsula, they draw on bluegrass backgrounds and weave in influences from new wave to old time to make music that defies boundaries while evoking the era when country, bluegrass, western swing, and early rock’n’roll mingled freely. They’re joined by Wicked Sycamore, an all-female trio hailing from the Baltimore/DC area. Their sound can be described as contemporary folk with a mischievous edge that is grounded in traditional roots, Americana, and bluegrass.

The Easton Airport Cruise-In returns May 15, 2022. We welcome automobile enthusiasts out to the airport for an afternoon of fun!   Our friends at Chesapeake Classic Car Club will organize the automobiles, Easton Airport staff, food vendors, and partners will organize other activities you’ll be sure to enjoy. Admission for the general public is FREE! Public parking is FREE!   Chesapeake Classic Car Club will collect a $5 participation donation (per car) for vehicles who wish to participate in the Cruise-In. Proceeds will support the Easton Airport’s Aviation Career Education (ACE) Program. This is an “Open Show” style event. All makes, models, and years are invited to attend. Gates open to Cruise-In vehicles at noon and trophies will be awarded at 3:30 p.m.

Tidewater Inn announces the grand reopening and official ribbon cutting of Terrasse Spa on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. Terrasse Spa is located inside the Tidewater Inn at 101 East Dover Street. Terrasse Spa features four treatment rooms offering the finest treatments including restorative massage, rejuvenating facials, and invigorating body treatments. A ribbon-cutting event will take place on Thursday, May 19 at 4:30 p.m. to celebrate the grand reopening of Terrasse Spa.

Join us for our glass workshop in May. We will be teaching you how to score and cut glass to create a fun rainbow design! Choose to slump your piece into a vase or leave it flat. Step by step instructions will be given to teach the basics of glass fusing. Glass workshops are for adults 18+. Project costs $55+ tax and will cover the cost to make one piece.

Please join us for a presentation by Town officials on the progress of Easton's updated 10 year comprehensive plan. This plan is an essential tool for the Town to guide future land development decisions. Public input and comments will be welcomed at the meeting. Space for the meeting is limited and registration will be on a first come first serve basis. Jazz Alive invites you to watch the amazing Fred Hughes trio on May 27th at Easton’s Historic Waterfowl Building!   Originating in the jazz clubs of Washington, DC, the Fred Hughes Trio has been performing, recording and presenting clinics and workshops since 1989 and brings over four decades of musical experience to the stage. A sampling of the groups performing credentials includes the Elkhart, Rehoboth, Cape May, East Coast, Clifford Brown and Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festivals, the 1996 Summer Olympics and tours to the Republic of Korea in 2001 and 2002.
