The Talbot County Women’s Club is hosting the Garden Gate Fundraiser Flower Mart & Lavender Gifts and Garden Decor on Thursday, April 28th through Saturday, April 30thh from 11 a.m. to 4:00 each day and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Talbot County Women’s Clubhouse located on 18 Talbot Lane in Easton. The Flower Mart will offer a wide selection of geraniums, annuals, perennials, and herbs, as well as hanging baskets and garden planters for both sun and shade.

Our downtown businesses will be adorned with the promise of spring with beautiful displays of flowers, including arrangements from Garden Treasures. Floral displays will be judged at 2pm on Saturday, April 30th by the Talbot County Garden Club.

Now hanging at Easton’s liveliest art gallery, the Trippe Gallery, is the annual “Art of the Garden” exhibition. This popular annual show is celebrating its 6th year! This year’s exhibition is featuring the still-life fine art photographs of Nanny Trippe, inspired during the pandemic shutdown, as well as oil and watercolor paintings of gardens and botanicals by Nancy Tankersley, Meg Nottingham Walsh, Elise Phillips, Stephen Haynes, Hanna MacNaughtan and Lee D’Zmura. An opening reception will be held from 5 pm to 8 pm during Easton’s rebranded Easton Night Out. The Trippe Gallery invites you to come enjoy this exciting diverse collection of art by many of your favorite artists in the exhibition “The Art of the Garden”. Easton Airport is excited to invite the public to a special “Walk & Talk” airport open house series. The event offers the community an on-site trek of the community airport with a walking tour through designated sections of the airfield on May 12 and 26, 2022. Pre-registration for “Walk & Talk” is requested to help share important information prior to arriving at the airport. No 4-legged friends are permitted on the tour. The walk is approx. a 1-mile loop. Weather related cancellations will be announced via email in advance with make up dates to be determined. Walks start at 10 a.m. and finish around noon.
