SONOS: Tales for Halloween

Academy Art Museum 106 South St, Easton

SONOS, featuring Rachel Franklin, Christian Tremblay, and Jonathan Miles Brown, is returning to the Museum with their latest program, Tales for Halloween, which takes a playful look at the eternal fascination musicians have for the supernatural. They’ll explore what constitutes “scary” music and trace the haunting influence of literary and historic sources on the Gothic in their favorite creepy concert experiences! Works will include Tartini’s “Devil’s Trill,” De Falla’s “El Amor Brujo,” and a spine-tingling arrangement of Saint-Saëns’ “Danse Macabre,” plus some devilishly delicious jazz and folk!
