Part of EEDC's sounds of the season! Jayme Dingler has been entertaining audiences on the Mid-Shore since she arrived in Easton in 2004. The joy she takes in performing is evident in her soulful and dynamic voice. Jayme’s repertoire is diverse, and you’ll always hear a new twist on a song you’ve heard a million times before. As her website (jaymerocks.com) says, Jayme Rocks! You can come listen to Jayme in front of the Talbot County Courthouse on October 1, from 6PM to 9PM. See you there!

Dan Van Skiver returns for Sounds of the Season! Dan has lived in Easton for over twenty years and has been playing in bands on and off since he was a teenager. His father’s extensive and eclectic record collection drew him to music at a young age. A musician of many disciplines, Dan has played in a variety of bands over the years. You might remember him from his days playing guitar in Down Hollow, as the bassist of The International Jet Set, or as the singer/guitarist of Street 45’s and Downbound Train. Dan will be playing in front of the Talbot County Courthouse Friday, October 8th, from 6PM to 9PM.

Gage Rhodes joins the Sounds of the Season! Gage is an indie folk singer-songwriter born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Striving to convey all sides of stumbling into adulthood in an increasingly strange world, Gage and his band, The Rural Depression, don’t mind talking about the funny, dark, strange paths they find themselves on. His songs are equally influenced by country music, indie rock, and the paranormal. Rhodes will be performing in front of the Tidewater Inn Saturday, October 9th, from 11AM to 2PM.

The Academy Art Museum will hold their annual Craft Show from October 15th to October 17th! The event will exhibit and sell the incredible work of over 50 artists from all over. The Sounds of the Season return with Mac and Blue! Mac & Blue is a family band consisting of brother and sister rhythm section Mac and Andrew and their father, Lee, on guitar. The band has been around since 2018 and has been making waves ever since. Mac and Blue plays a mix of original songs and what they refer to as tributes. “These are not covers,” the band says on their website, “Our music is an Homage to the masters that came before”. With Mac's powerful voice, Andrew's drumming, and Lee's guitar talent their music is guaranteed to make you move. Mac and Blue will be playing in front of the Tidewater Inn Saturday, October 16th, from 11AM to 2PM. See you there!

Spark In Da Pan will be playing at Tiger Lily Restaurant's grand opening! Spark In Da Pan is an Easton based Steel Band Ensemble. Instrumentation covers a full orchestral range providing a robust sound top to bottom of musical range. Music selection ranges from traditional steel pan music to music heard on the radio everyday. Guest performers and extra instruments pop in on occasion and add another dimension to the music. Always true to our motto : "No pan handlin, Just steelin". The band will be playing 7PM to 10PM.

Part of EEDC's Sounds of the Season! New Legacy Blues was formed by seasoned musicians in the Washington DC metropolitan area to bring a modern sound to classic blues. New Legacy Blues delivers tight, upbeat performances with songs drawn from the Chicago, Memphis, and Austin blues scenes. The band is committed to music that inspires the audience to listen…and get up and dance. New Legacy Blues will be playing in front of the Tidewater Inn Saturday, October 23, from 12PM to 3PM. Join the Talbot Young Professionals as they kick off the 2021 toy collection campaign with a Toys for Tots Kick Off Cocktail Party! The Party will be at the Academy Art Museum from 5PM to 8PM. All ticket sales will be donated to Toys For Tots. Participants of the event will be entered into  raffle for an $100 gift card to TNT Jewelers.
