Easton High School Jazz band

Thompson Park 2 S Washington Street, Easton

The Easton High School Jazz band is comprised of some of the most dedicated instrumentalists in the high school band program. They rehearse weekly after school and have continued to play together despite pandemic related restrictions. They have put together a lineup of big band classics, funk and rock and roll. Please join us in Thompson Park on Saturday to hear what they’ve been working on!

Dan Van Skiver

Presented by EEDC The sounds of summer continue with a local talent: Dan Van Skiver! Dan has lived in Easton for over twenty years and has been playing in bands on and off since he was a teenager. His father’s extensive and eclectic record collection drew him to music at a young age A musician of many disciplines, Dan has played in a variety of bands over the years. You might remember him from his days playing guitar in Down Hollow, as the bassist of The International Jet Set, or as the singer/guitarist of Street 45’s and Downbound Train. Dan will be playing in front of the Tidewater Inn on Saturday, June 12, from 11 AM to 2PM.
