Hear our Story! As you tour the historic James Price House (c. 1790’s) you’ll discover the amazing history of Easton’s visionary women leaders. Also check out an outdoor artifacts exhibit from the 2013 archeological dig and discover the social-cultural lives of the people who once lived here. Every house not only has a genealogy but also at least one legend in its history. Our house has no exception. In 1803 Captain James Thomas, a retired Navy man from Annapolis, supposed to have buried gold and rich treasure under the brick cellar floor. Did vandals find the treasure and what happened when they broke into the house and dug up the cellar floor? Children will receive pirate coins as a gift.
