Town of Easton: Master Plan for Infill Development Update

This Fall, students in Salisbury University’s Applied Planning Class, taught in an adjunct capacity by Easton’s Town Planner, Lynn Thomas, will begin the process of examining and updating the Downtown Easton Master Plan for Infill Development.

In 2008, Historic Easton, Inc., utilized grant funding and worked cooperatively with the Town to prepare a “Downtown Easton Master Plan for Infill Development.”  This Fall, students in Salisbury University’s Applied Planning Class, taught in an adjunct capacity by Easton’s Town Planner, Lynn Thomas, will begin the process of examining and updating this Plan.

As part of this project, the Planning students will conduct a public meeting in Easton on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., in the Easton Town Offices at 14 South Harrison street. The primary purpose of this meeting is to obtain the views and input of interested stakeholders. This will include feedback concerning the continued appropriateness of recommendation in the 2008 Plan as well as the solicitation of new ideas to continue and enhance the vitality of Downtown Easton.

Property owners, business owners, residents, and anyone interested in seeing Downtown thrive and grow is welcome to participate. For more information, contact Lynn Thomas at  or (410) 822-1943.
