Pursuant to its goal of renovating historic housing in the hill neighborhood, the Town of Easton has started restoration efforts at two locations, 31 and 34 South Locust Lane. The selective demolition has started as has the framing of an addition on the 31 South Locust lane residence.
The first house to be completed by the Town located at 308 South Street is still available for purchase at a price of $129,000 and will be featured along with the Buffalo Soldier House; located at 323 South Street during a ribbon cutting and open house to occur on the 15th of this month at 11:00 am.
All are welcome to keep an eye on the progress at 31 and 34 South Locust Lane as there are a lot of improvements to watch for.
