Residents of the Town of Easton may have noticed a curiously outfitted van riding throughout the Town’s streets in the past few weeks. That is because the Town hired a company called Infrastructure Management Services (IMS) to study our roads.
The van, which was loaded with cameras and sensors, collected surface and curb condition data. Ultimately, the data will be used by Engineering and Public Works to evaluate the condition of the roads which will help to determine which roads require resurfacing and in what order to do so.
