He opened our Sounds of Summer series back in May with a great acoustic show at Thompson Park\, and we’re excited to welcome him back! DESCRIPTION:Part of EEDC’s Sounds of Summer! Randall started her music career singing in choir at school and church growing up. She is a classically trained vocalist of seven years and is a High School Chorus/Music Teacher at her Alma mater North Caroline High School. She also co-led the bands 21 Horses and the Butler & Jamison Band from 2015-2017. Her impassioned vocals add insane vitality to a variety of musical selections from rhythm & blues\, contemporary pop\, modern country and classic rock genres. She will be performing outside the Talbot County Courthouse Friday\, August 13th from 6PM to 9PM. Hope to see you there!

SUMMARY:An Evening with the Hot Club of Baltimore
DESCRIPTION:Jazz Alive brings world-class jazz to the historic Waterfowl Building in Easton\, Maryland for a 3-part concert series beginning with the Hot Club of Baltimore on July 24\, 2021 at 7pm! The Hot Club of Baltimore performs arrangements of the Django Reinhardt repertoire\, French waltzes\, and Trad Jazz. The ensemble boasts a variety of configurations including an instrumental trio of two guitars and upright bass\, a classic quintet with violin\, a late 40’s configuration adding piano\, drums\, and horns\, and a Django Big Band inspired by Reinhardt’s legendary performance with Duke Ellington at Carnegie Hall. Easton’s Historic Waterfowl Building will be setup in a club-like setting with a cash bar and light hors d’oeuvres available for purchase. Purchase of a concert ticket supports Jazz Alive’s mission of providing educational support in developing future artists and preserving this great art form through school and community programs.
