SUMMARY:Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival
DESCRIPTION:at the Ebenezer Theater\, new home of Chesapeake Music\nWe are delighted to welcome you to the 36th annual Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival\, June 4 through June 12\, at the Ebenezer Theater\, 17 South Washington Street\, Easton\, MD. Join us in person or on the web to experience the extraordinary performances of 15 acclaimed musicians presenting six concerts over two music-filled weekends. \nArtistic Directors Marcy Rosen and Catherine Cho have created another compelling program of chamber music masterworks\, as well as intimate duo performances. We are eager to welcome returning distinguished musicians who have become dear friends over the years they have played for us. We are also pleased to greet violist Molly Carr and cellist Timothy Eddy joining the Festival for the first time. We are excited that the Orion String Quartet\, one of the most sought-after ensembles in the country\, will play at two concerts for their first Festival appearance as a quartet. The concert schedule\, performing artists and works to be performed are detailed in the Festival program posted below. \nChesapeake Music has much to celebrate as we launch Festival 2021 in our elegantly renovated new home. Thank you to Paul and Joanne Prager for generously inviting Chesapeake Music to make its home at the Ebenezer Theater. Thank you also to the generous donors who have made it possible for Chesapeake Music to acquire our own Steinway concert grand piano.

SUMMARY:Kat Parsons
DESCRIPTION:A little bit Zen\, a little bit playful\, Kat Parsons’ music balances on the dicey line between reality and fantasy.\nInstead of running from the duality of that place\, Parsons mines it. When Kat sings about life being lived\, you can’t help but recognize your own story in the lines.\nAn intrepid spirit in music as in life\, she reaches deep and wide and leaves you exhilarated\, comforted\, understood…Connected\, in a very human way. In an era anesthetized on spin\, Kat Parsons is distinctively real.\nhttps://katparsons.com/

SUMMARY:Peter Bradley Adams
DESCRIPTION:“…Adams fuses intimate\, emotionally powerful lyrics with graceful\, low-key roots-based indie folk…” All Music Guide\nAdams is an Americana singer-songwriter who tells tales of love and loss\, homes and hearts. The territory he mines is a deliberate mix of fact and fantasy\, but regardless of the details\, there’s always a philosophical bent that is often more under than on the surface\, firmly grounding Adams’ songs even as they stretch outward.\nHis brand of Americana nestles his often delicate\, always heartfelt voice in the warm embrace of gentle guitar\, tasteful dobro\, subtle banjo\, supportive bass\, and unhurried percussion. The result is a sonic scape that\, in turn\, wraps itself around the listener like a soft blanket on a cold day.\nhttp://www.peterbradleyadams.com/
