This weekend, we continue to fine-tune and work out details with the ‘On Street Dining.’ The weather, although very warm, has cooperated, and the results have been mixed.
The big event to date has been the Tropical Storm Isaias, whose winds and water caused considerable damage to our Town. But we took the storm in stride and came through it well, in part thanks to our many infrastructure upgrades. Many thanks and a hefty amount of praise to the Easton Volunteer Fire Department, Easton Police Department, Easton Public Works, and Easton Utilities. These ladies and gentlemen worked tirelessly to make damage corrections and offer assistance wherever needed. They are a prime example of what makes Easton the best it can be. A tip of the hat again to our emergency workers.
