EEDC hosted the Meet & Greet the Easter Bunny event this past Saturday to a very enthusiastic audience. We engaged over 25 volunteers and partnered with Kiln Born, Talbot County Economic Development and Tourism, Town of Easton, and the Easton Volunteer Fire Department. We also had in attendance over 300 children and their parents, with lines stretching around the block. This was one of the first outside, socially distanced events in over a year.
The Easter Bunny arrived by firetruck to many cheers and hung around to take pictures with the kids and give them a goodie bag to take home.
A huge shout out goes to Arden Kern who organized the event, our Communication team who made sure the community knew this was happening, the team of volunteers from the Talbot County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Group (YP), and Town Councilman, Don Abbatiello.
